We are looking for brain power of business travel insiders, buyers of business travel.
We are BT 4 Europe, the European Network of Business Travel Associations Our founding members are 13 European associations (AEGVE, AFTM, AITMM, ASTM, BATM, CORTAS, DBTA, FBTA, NATM, NBTA, SBTA and VDR) It is our purpose to give business travel a stronger
voice in Europe, in particular with legislation in Brussels.
We follow a few yet important priorities:
- Make business travel sustainable.
- Digital transformation of our industry.
- Leverage the economic impact of business travel.
- Research the facts & figures of European business travel.
These four areas also make up our internal working groups.
This year alone the European Commission is developing a number of highly relevant Initiatives, which will impact our business travel industry We take ownership to voice our opinion on.
- CountEmissionEU, the new technical standard on greenhouse gas calculation.
- MDMS, the forthcoming regulation of rail air online booking engines.
- Passenger Rights, update of current legislation.
- Digitalising Travel Document, a new initiative to leverage technology and many more dossiers currently under review or in development in Brussels.
We are looking for business travel insiders, preferably but not exclusively buyers of business travel Join one of our working groups, if you
- know business travel from firsthand experience
- enjoy working in an international team with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- are at ease to communicate virtually and in English language
- are interested to shape the European legislation, yes, you can!
- are capable to invest 1 2 hours per week
- want to be rewarded intrinsically, because our work is pro bono only
