Last week, BT4Europe took part in the academic forum organized by the Florence School of Regulation and DG MOVE on the future of European rail passenger rights, with a particular focus on single ticketing between railway operators.
The discussion addressed the issues that matter most to business travelers:
- passenger protection and liability across connections;
- real-time data sharing between operators;
- the challenge of building truly seamless multimodal journeys.
From BT4Europe‘s perspective, the point is clear: anything that makes travel simpler for business travelers is a step in the right direction. We should focus not only on the destination, but on how travelers get there — making the journey as seamless, predictable and hassle-free as possible, especially where different operators and modes of transport are involved.
Our thanks to the Florence School of Regulation for hosting such a valuable space for dialogue between institutions, academia and industry, and to our representative Alberto Dalle Molle for bringing BT4Europe’s perspective into the discussion.
