- The leading voice of the European #BusinessTravel industry in Frankfurt: Today BT4Europe held its third Annual General Meeting since its foundation in February 2022.
The European Network of Business Travel Associations set the agenda for 2025 for the working groups #sustainability and ‘facts & figures’ as well as the strategy and priorities for the advocacy work on a European level.
Patrick W. Diemer was unanimously re-elected as Chairman. Congratulations and many thanks for your commitment and dedication!
Although 2024 has been a year of transition with the election of the new European Parliament and important dossiers being postponed – e.g. on #MultimodalDigitalMobilityServices (MDMS) or Count Emission EU – BT4Europe has made excellent progress:
- Released its ‘Manifesto’, outlining a bold vision for the future of business travel in Europe.
- Numerous meetings in Brussels with the European Commission, European Parliament, national embassies and other associations.
- Working groups with high engagement on #digitaltransformation, sustainability and facts & figures.
- Position paper ‘Sustainability in Business Travel’ and publication of white paper ‘Transformation Pathway for Sustainable Business Travel’ with strong engagement in Brussels.
VDR is a founding member of BT4Europe.
